THE British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP) in partnership with the Kent County Council successfully spearheaded the Day 1 of the Food and Beverage Virtual Trade Mission event last Sept. 15, 2022.

The event was attended by a delegation of UK food and beverage exporters with the objective to meet key Philippine importers and distributors to explore market opportunities and to establish long-term partnerships.

At the event Chris Nelson, executive director trustee of the BCCP, warmly welcomed and highlighted the importance of the virtual trade mission.

“What we’re going to show and highlight today are food drink products coming from the Southeast of England. This is actually a well-known area, in terms of innovative food and drink products. Now, what we want to do is share those food products with the international customers, such as in the Philippines,” Nelson said.

The mission highlights include market briefings which provide useful market trends, key issues, legal considerations, and even logistic information in the Philippines and a panel session with top industry leaders and government representatives.

Committed to the advocacy to promote and strengthen trade relationship between UK and the Philippines, the Chamber continues to host events bringing more UK companies to the Philippines
