This October 30, another interesting business summit is coming as the European-Philippine Business Summit led by the European Chamber of Commerce Philippines (ECCP) is scheduled.

Speaking to THEPHILBIZNEWS, British Chamber of Commerce Philippines Executive Director and Trustee Chris Nelson said that just like before, the BritCham Philippines is supporting this event and he will be the moderator on the trade and investment forum featuring Secretary Ramon Lopez and other economic leaders

“This is going to be another exciting event, and people in the business sector should not miss this as many interesting topics will be discussed and also the sentiments of the European investors would be known,” Nelson said.

In line with its ongoing efforts in promoting the Philippines as a long-term investment destination, the Chamber recently hosted the first UK-Philippines virtual trade mission. The UK is one of the leading European investors in the country, with foreign direct investment from the UK in the Philippines amounting to £578m in 2018.
